On Tuesday evening, the police are at the Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz in Rosenkrantzgaten, behind Bryggen, following a report of a burglary.
Operations manager Knut Dahl-Michelsen informs BA that several valuables have been stolen from two different rooms. The report came in to the police just before 2200.
The unfortunate tourists are from Belgium, the operations manager explains, and have had their passports, cameras and clothes stolen.
– The patrol on the spot is working to obtain surveillance images and will see if they recognize them, says Dahl-Michelsen.
– We have a photo of the alleged perpetrator, Tore André Brakstad told BT.
It is not known how the suspect got into the rooms. There should be no signs that doors or windows have been broken open, according to the police.
