Darmstadt (ots) –
Two break-ins were reported to the police on Saturday (November 27th).
Between 4:20 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., strangers entered a row house “Am Trockenbusch” in Eberstadt through a levered open window. The uninvited visitors searched cupboards and drawers looking for valuables. The police investigation must now show whether something has been stolen.
Between 6:50 p.m. and 10:35 p.m., burglars also sought out a single-family home on Malvenweg in Arheilgen. There the perpetrators first pried open a patio door and thus gained access to the premises. The burglars opened and rummaged through almost all the closets, but apparently did not find anything and left without loot.
It is unclear whether there is a connection between the acts. Anyone who has made suspicious observations or can provide useful information is asked to contact the criminal police in Darmstadt (Kommissariat 21/22) on 06151 / 969-0.
