Two of the thieves had run away while the third, who was possibly in better shape, was stuck in a window, the police in Trøndelag write on Twitter.
– We moved out and encountered one of the thieves. He was still stuck in the window, and was not narrow enough to get out. According to witnesses, there have been two more thieves. The two were narrow enough to get out, and had evaporated when the police arrived, says Ole Tokstad, operations manager in Trøndelag police district.
He further says that they were able to release the burglar from the window and arrest him.
It is still uncertain whether anything was taken, as the owner of the home has not received an overview.
The police were notified of the incident at 10.36.
