Burger King changes the logo and its recipes

news-paragraphs-above-ad">

The new Burger King logo, which will adorn restaurants, packaging, the clothing of the employees and all other touchpoints of the company in the future, may seem like a good old friend to some. In 1999, Burger King introduced the currently used logo with a blue circle and curved font.

Used until today:

From February it will be replaced by a logo that comes very close to the predecessor of the current logo: two halves of bread rolls with the red lettering “Burger King” between them, the chain’s logo looked very similar between 1969 and 1999. The specially developed font called “Flame” is a bit more rounded, the colors are richer, but the differences between the logos are not great. The new font is not only used in the logo, but also on packaging and advertising posters.

With the new logo, which was developed by the design team at Restaurant Brands International, Burger King does not only want to change the look. Because the logo, which is rather simple and uncomplicated compared to its direct predecessor, should also stand for uncomplicated food that will in future be without additives such as preservatives, flavor enhancers and artificial flavors.
