Bunnpris brings the Christmas baton and sells Gilde Christmas sausages (400g) for NOK 20.
Gjerrignarken Rune Kaino Nikolaisen from gjerrigknark.com still waiting for the Christmas price war at the grocery store. In the meantime, it is noticed in the week of Bunnpris Black.
– While we wait for the Christmas price war, they have cooked and smoked Christmas sausages from Gilde (400g) for NOK 20. In comparison, Kiwi’s is NOK 42.90
This offering crowns Nikolaisen’s top five list for this week:
-
Basic price: Cooked/Smoked Gilde Christmas Sausage – NOK 20 – 400g
-
Spar/EuroSpar: Julius’s Favorite Bread – NOK 20 – 750 g
-
Spar/EuroSpar: Cola/Fanta/Sprite – Two for 10 kroner – 2 x 0,33 l
-
Menu: Whole Fresh Grilled Chicken – NOK 69.90 (Monday to Wednesday)
-
Joker: Chicken fillet / thigh fillet – NOK 69.90 – 650g / 600g
Bunnpris still has a fixed price for meat, which is not Black Week specific, but still a good offer according to Gjerrigknarken:
- Pork meat dough NOK 30 400g
- Beef meat dough NOK 50 400g
- Dough carbonade NOK 60 400g

Using Black Week for what it’s worth
Black week is special for Bunnpris among grocery stores. However, this is nothing to be happy about.
– Is Black week better than other offer weeks at Bunnpris?
– No, I don’t think there are more good offers than usual. They use Black Week for all it’s worth, even on not-so-good offers.
As an example of offers that are not so good, Gjerrigknarken points out three for 100 a crown forward Nidar large plates.
– You find this offer.
Nikolaisen believes it’s important to compare prices and be skeptical.
Rema 1000 for example has one a chocolate bar to NOK 29.90.
– It will be cheaper than three for NOK 100, so Bunnpris Black week is not particularly good there.

More expensive than everything else
Even though Bunnpris has a Black week, they have regular prices that are higher than the low price range, Nikolaisen emphasizes.
– If it says 30 percent on selected Peppe or Fjordland pizza dinners, which are also marketed as Black Beek, I’m a little more skeptical here.
Gerrigknarken believes that prices should be carefully scrutinized.
– Because here the benefits can increase in the spin.
Swedish prices for soft drinks
Gjerrigknarken also like Spar’s two for ten offer on 0.33l soda cans and a porridge offer.
– If you want a taste of Christmas, a small packet of rice porridge from Fjordland costs NOK 10.
– In general, the krone market should be looked at for Spar/Eurospar. There are a lot out there that are a little cheaper.
– Don’t be fooled by party goods
If you’re thinking of supermarkets because it’s cheap, you shouldn’t be. At Bunnpris, Findus fish & crisp is marketed as a batch product, where you can get 200 grams for NOK 30.
But this is a smaller package than usual. Gjerrigknarken sheds light on Coop Obs, which has the same product in a larger 600 gram package for NOK 69.90.
So Coop Obs has a price per kilo of NOK 116.50, and at the lowest price the price per kilo is NOK 150.
– They make a smaller package, so people think it’s free of dirt, but if you have several more, it’s not so profitable anymore.
– On the other hand, this can be nice for those who are single and only want a small package.
