As promised, Bungie unveiled the latest and final DLC for Destiny 2 in a 20-minute stream. As expected, a completely new raid, enemy type, weapons and three new superpowers await.
The multi-year history of Destiny 2 is finally coming to an end with The Final Shape, and the date will be June 4, although the premiere was originally intended for February, but due to layoffs at Bungie, it had to be postponed.
The DLC includes a brand new raid and a new region known as The Pale Heart, we get three new supers, enemy units called Dread – including flying beasts – not to mention new weapons. Perhaps the most important thing is that every configuration will be imaginable in it, new and existing abilities can be freely combined with each other – fans are given complete freedom.
A new sub-class also debuts in the package, Prismatic is also a hybrid, it will essentially be a mixture of Light and Dark, i.e. we can put together the capabilities of the five sub-classes ourselves. Objects belonging to the Exotic class will appear again, we can even have two exotic armors in one slot. It’s almost scary how many possibilities there will be in The Final Shape!
