Game developer Bungie is expanding and wants to open its first international office. The company has chosen Amsterdam for this. It doesn’t look like the studio is going to develop games here.

It appears that game development will remain headquartered in Bellevue, Washington State. This head office grows from over 7,800 square meters to more than 19,000 square meters. This expansion should be ready in the fall of 2022. Bungie does not write how many more workers it can accommodate with the expansion.

With the expansion of the headquarters, the studio wants to strengthen the further development of Destiny 2, while at the same time working on new games. Bungie talks about ‘new stories in the Destiny universe’ and about games in new universes. The company does not yet provide details about those new games, besides that it wants to release ‘at least one’ game in a new universe by 2025.
