Bundestag Deputy Opposes Western Fighter Jets in Ukraine

No Western fighters should be in the sky over Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by Bundestag deputy Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, who heads the defense committee.

In an interview with the Deutschlandfunk radio station, Strack-Zimmerman spoke out against the supply of German fighters to Kyiv.

“Western fighters, whether Tornado or Eurofighter, should not be over the airspace of Ukraine. This is due to the flight range of the machine and the complexity of training, ” she explained.

Previously EADaily quoted a German security expert Joachim Weberawho questioned the feasibility of supplying German fighters to Kyiv, given the technically obsolete state of aircraft.
