Bundesliga – women’s football: Frankfurt beats Essen – Potsdam clearly wins in Bremen

Cologne (SID) – Eintracht Frankfurt remains the first pursuer of the top duo Bayern Munich and VfL Wolfsburg in the women’s Bundesliga. The team from Hesse won the 16th match day 1-0 (0-0) against SGS Essen, national player Laura Freigang (50th) decided the game.

In the table, Frankfurt (34 points) claimed third place behind Munich (40) and Wolfsburg (38) – Turbine Potsdam (33) remains fourth despite a 5-0 (3-0) win at Werder Bremen.
