Bundesliga stadiums that are finally sold out again!
The Bavarian clubs will be able to compete in front of full ranks for the first time in a year and a half on the next match day (October 15 to 17). At nine other clubs, more than 70 percent of the capacity is allowed after the international break (see table).
But that is still not enough for some fans!
In Frankfurt up to 40,000 are allowed in the home game against Hertha. At the request of the Ultras, the club fought for the opening of the entire standing area (6500 seats). In addition to those who have been vaccinated and recovered, as required by the Ultras, 400 people who have been tested are also allowed to come. But because this means that a mask must be worn throughout the curve, they are boycotting the game …
Chief Financial Officer Oliver Frankenbach (54): “I don’t want to comment on the topic of ultras because they are not a driver for full utilization.”
The past weekend in various stadiums has already shown that this does not have to be detrimental to the mood. Without choreographed ultra chants, the mood follows the game again more – and more spectators join in.
What are the special features of other clubs?
► Second division HSV (100 percent utilization possible) has overturned the idea of a block with larger distances for corona-concerned spectators. Reason: The demand was too low! The club is currently expecting 35,000 fans against Düsseldorf.
► U-turn at BVB! In order to create vaccination incentives, Dortmund had so far campaigned for the 2G rule. Only valid in the VIP and hospitality areas. From now on, 3G counts again in the stands.

That applies to the Bundesliga stadiums
BILD says who is allowed where and how at the upcoming home games. For Bayern, Frankfurt and Fürth, 3G + applies (with current PCR test). Mainz relies on 2G +. That means: 24,000 tickets are sold according to 2G rules, 1000 according to 3G rules.
