Masters and qualification group
The 6 best clubs from the regular season will again play against each other in the championship group for the championship title and the international starting places. The other 6 clubs also play each other twice in the qualification group against relegation and for qualification for the European Cup play-off.
Due to the reform of the UEFA competitions from 2021/22 and the resulting new entry list, the play-off winner will receive a ticket for the qualifying phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League for the second time this year.
Europacup-Play-off
After the final round, the champion, the runner-up, the third-placed in the championship and the winner of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup have their international starting places fixed.
Depending on whether the cup winner in the championship also lands on an international starting place, there are different possibilities as to which teams take part in the European Cup play-off. The following generally applies: The 6th in the master group and also the places 9 to 12 do not take part in the European Cup play-off.
The semi-finals of the European Cup play-off will take place on Monday 23 May, with the two finals on Thursday 26 May and Sunday 29 May.
