Football fans are still standing until July 11, 2021 thanks to the European Football Championship Euro 2020 under constant power – but the EM is not the only football highlight this summer. The new Bundesliga season will begin on August 13, 2021. In order to get in the mood for the new season apart from the European Football Championship, the Bundesliga clubs warm up during test matches during the summer break. Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach is playing two more international test matches in preparation for the new season. The team of the new coach Adi Hütter will meet the French first division club FC Metz on July 24th (3:30 p.m.) and on July 31st FC Groningen (3:30 p.m.) from the Dutch honor division. Both games take place in Mönchengladbach.
The start of training at the table eighth of the previous season is on July 3rd at 10.30 a.m. in Borussia-Park. The first test match will take place on July 10th (3:30 p.m.) against Viktoria Köln. The first Bundesliga game for Gladbach is on August 13 against Bayern Munich (8.30 p.m.).

Eintracht Frankfurt will start preparing for the upcoming Bundesliga season on July 1st. The new coach Oliver Glasner will assemble the team at 10:00 a.m. for the first training session, announced the Hessian first division soccer team on Tuesday. Before that, the Europa League starter will complete the mandatory performance tests on June 29th and 30th.
Because of the corona pandemic, the training units and test games are being held in camera during the preparation for the season. However, Eintracht gave their fans hope that the last test match on July 31st as the season opener could be played in front of spectators. The opponents of the games have not yet been determined. The Football Bundesliga starts on August 13th in the 2021/22 season.

FC Bayern is going on virtual tour this summer as well. From July 23rd to 31st, fans of the German record champions “around the globe” will have the opportunity to witness the preparation of the team live under the new coach Julian Nagelsmann. On July 24th, FC Bayern will play a test match against Ajax Amsterdam in the Allianz Arena as part of the “Audi Football Summit” (4.30 p.m. / RTL).

In preparation for the new Bundesliga season, FSV Mainz 05 will move into a summer training camp in Bad Häring / Austria from July 20th to 28th. Bundesliga soccer team 1. FC Union Berlin will start preparations for the season on June 28th. According to a statement on Monday, head coach Urs Fischer expects his team to return for extensive medical tests. The team will then travel to the short training camp in nearby Bad Saarow in Brandenburg from July 1st to 4th. On July 10th (Saturday) the first test match against the Czech second division team Dukla Prague is on the program at the An der Alten Försterei stadium.
Before leaving for the summer training camp, the Köpenickers also test away against third division promoted Viktoria Berlin (July 14) and at home against second division promoted Dynamo Dresden (July 17) at the Alte Försterei. FC Augsburg will start preparing for the new Bundesliga season on July 1st. Coach Markus Weinzierl is expecting his team back that Thursday after their vacation. The players who played at the European Championships or Copa America will probably still be missing.
As the Swabians announced on Friday, there will be a training camp at Walchsee in Tyrol from July 10th to 18th. The first test match is planned for July 7th against second division Hamburger SV. The first competitive game starts at the beginning of August with the opening round in the DFB Cup – the Bundesliga season begins a week later.

Arminia Bielefeld will start training for the next season in the Bundesliga on June 30th.
