Monday games are actually abolished in the Bundesliga. But this Monday there are two: RB Leipzig have to play against Gladbach and Frankfurt in Leverkusen (8.30 p.m.).
Reason: May 1st falls on a Sunday. But there are many police officers on duty at demonstrations and cannot secure any football games. So Sunday is excluded as an appointment. Because of the Euro games on Thursday, however, Leipzig and Frankfurt need a rest, so they cannot play on Saturday.
The Saxons are not happy about the match day because they have one day less to prepare for the second leg in Glasgow (on Thursday). Rangers play their league duel with Celtic tomorrow.
