Böblingen (SID) – Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart started the new season with an easy friendly victory. The Swabians won 7-1 (4-0) at the state league club SV Böblingen. Alou Kuol (71st, 76th, 84th) scored three times, Chris Führich (16th, 35th) twice. The other goals were scored by Enzo Millot (24′) and Thomas Kastanaras (38′).
Stars Sasa Kalajdzic and Borna Sosa, who are willing to change, were absent due to longer vacations, as was Atakan Karazor, who is still in custody for a possible crime in Ibiza.
