Gelsenkirchen (SID) – Bundesliga returnees Schalke 04 will start preparing for the new season on June 22nd. To kick things off, the team, under new coach Frank Kramer, will complete a public training session in the Park Stadium, with internal performance tests being carried out on the two days before. A first test match will follow on June 29th, according to the club, the opponent will be announced shortly.
In addition to other friendlies, the Royal Blues will be contesting their traditional training camp in Mittersill, Austria, from July 11th to 18th. Kramer and Co.’s first competitive game is in the first round of the DFB Cup at regional league club Bremer SV.
