Bundesliga: Rule changes, transfers & coaches! What’s new?

The start of the season is just around the corner!

Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen open the new Bundesliga season on August 23. Before the start of the season, fans are asking themselves: What are the most important tactics?

The “complaint rule” is coming!

No more packet formats – that’s the theory…

Starting next season, only team captains will be allowed to discuss matters with the referee on the pitch. If the captain is the goalkeeper, a representative will be appointed for him before the game, who can complain to the referee about decisions.

The new “protest rule” has already been implemented at the 2024 European Championships, and from now on it applies to all German leagues and European Cup competitions.
