Kiel has to pay tribute to the mammoth program
Despite the fan support, the North Germans hardly managed anything. The exhausting mammoth program in the end of the season with eleven games in just over a month made itself felt early on. After the fourth Cologne goal against the best second division defense by the ex-Kieler Czichos (39th), the dream was over and the Cologne class stay perfect.

Cologne prevents seventh relegation
