Bundesliga: RB Leipzig and Hertha Berlin play 2-2 draw

Despite a huge goalie flop – Hertha scores a point against Leipzig

RB Leipzig could not fully benefit from Dortmund’s defeat in the top Bundesliga game against Bayern Munich. The team of coach Julian Nagelsmann played 2-2 at home against Hertha Berlin and remains in third place.

Krzysztof Piatek secured the strengthened Berliners after the restart in the 82nd minute with a converted foul penalty to the away point. The penalty was preceded by a foul by Ademola Lookman on former Sion and Leipzig’s Matheus Cunha. The away point at the title aspirant was not undeserved.
