In news that was anticipated after word leaked out yesterday, Borussia Mönchengladbach has officially announced that it has hired Eintracht Frankfurt manager Adi Hütter to take the reins at Borussia Park next season.
Current Gladbach head coach Marco Rose is exiting his post after this season to take over at Borussia Dortmund:
Hütter has done a magnificent job with The Eagles since taking over for Niko Kovac in 2018 and will lead a Borussia Mönchengladbach side whose season was derailed by the news that the 44-year-old Rose would be moving on after the season.
“We’re delighted that Adi Hütter has agreed to join us,” said Gladbach’s sporting director Max Eberl told the club website. “He is the best coach to take on the challenges and goals that we have as a team and as a club from summer and beyond.”
The Bundesliga coaching carousel will continue now as Eintracht Frankfurt will be on the hunt for a new skipper for its talented roster.
