Bundesliga: How many spectators are currently allowed in the stadium?

At the weekend it should finally be really loud again in many Bundesliga stadiums. A total of 143,500 fans are allowed to attend the nine games – that’s more than in about three months. At that time there were around 161,500 spectators in the arenas. With 50,000 spectators, the derby between 1. FC Köln and Borussia Mönchengladbach was sold out. Soon it should be allowed to be even fuller in the stadiums. From March 4th, the clubs will again be able to welcome up to 25,000 fans nationwide, with a maximum occupancy rate of 75 percent. So far, the number of viewers has actually been capped at 10,000 fans – actually. But various regional exceptions make it possible to have more occupied places here and there.
