On Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, a real highlight will take place in the Alfdorf sports hall: The Bundesliga team of TVB Stuttgart will face Séléstat Alsace Handball in a test match in preparation for the start of the DAIKIN Handball Bundesliga. The match between TVB and the Alsatians will kick off at 7:00 p.m., admission to the hall from 6:00 p.m.

Last season, the Stuttgart team achieved the best placing in the club’s history, coming in eleventh place. The WILD BOYS left the other teams from the region behind and are now coming to Alfdorf as the best team in Baden-Württemberg. The French club, on the other hand, finished fourth in the second French league last season and has ambitions to be promoted to the top division in France this season. The handball players from Selestat are considered the training ground for French handball. The former French national goalkeeper Thieery Omeier learned to play handball in the small Alsatian town.

You can certainly look forward to seeing national player and Olympic participant Kai Häfner, TVB’s top scorer, and Daniel Fernandez, left winger of the Spanish national team. Of course, there will be an opportunity to collect autographs and take pictures with the teams after the game.

Tickets are available in advance on the TSV Allowa homepage -kabine1.de Tickets. The entrance fee is 10 euros for people aged 16 and over. Entry is free for children and young people up to 15 years. TSV ALLOWA is delighted to be able to host this test match and hopes to see lots of spectators at this special sporting event!
