DFB Cup also scheduled

Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern will face each other in the Bundesliga top match of the 12th matchday (November 30th, 6:30 p.m./Sky) at the Signal Iduna Park. This was announced by the German Football League (DFL) in Frankfurt/Main with the exact schedule for matchdays 6 to 12 until the beginning of December.
The new edition of the Supercup between champions Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart will take place in the Friday match on matchday 9 (November 1st, 8:30 p.m.). One day later (6:30 p.m.) Dortmund and RB Leipzig will meet. The southern summit between runners-up Stuttgart and Munich will take place on October 19th (6:30 p.m./Sky) as the top match of matchday 7.
Rounds 8 to 14 have been scheduled in the 2nd Bundesliga. The current league leader Fortuna Düsseldorf will face HSV on Matchday 8 on Sunday (1:30 p.m.), while the Franconian derby between Greuther Fürth and 1. FC Nuremberg will take place on the following matchday, also on Sunday (1:30 p.m.).
On Saturday evening (8:30 p.m.), Schalke and Hertha BSC will meet on Matchday 8 (October 5), on Matchday 11 (November 2) the Berliners will host 1. FC Köln and on Matchday 13 (November 23) the Royal Blues will travel to HSV.
DFB Cup: FC Bayern and BVB live on free TV
The second round of the DFB Cup has also been scheduled. The matches between VfL Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund and between 1. FSV Mainz 05 and Bayern Munich will be broadcast live on public television. ARD will broadcast the Wolves’ duel against BVB on October 29 (8:45 p.m.), and ZDF (8:45 p.m.) will broadcast the match in Mainz against record winners Bayern.
The second round will open on October 29th (6 p.m.) with defending champions Bayer Leverkusen playing against second division team SV Elversberg. RB Leipzig will also play against FC St. Pauli at the same time. In the evening (8:45 p.m.), runners-up VfB Stuttgart will face 1. FC Kaiserslautern.
On October 30th, there will be another Bundesliga duel in addition to Bayern’s evening game. Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach will meet at 6 p.m. Sky will broadcast all 16 games of the second round of the cup live, which will take place between the eighth and ninth Bundesliga matchdays. After the round of 16 in the DFB Cup on December 3rd/4th, the DFL will schedule the other Bundesliga games.
