After the intended organizer of the Final Four had to give back the event at short notice, the DBLV board of directors made a decision very quickly on the basis of the applications. The final four on 19./20. June 2021 will take place like the 2nd qualification tournament on 12./13. June in Wipperfürth and is hosted by the 1st BC Wipperfeld.
At the Final Four, both semi-finals will take place in parallel on Saturdays – probably at 3 p.m. – and will each be played on one playing field. The winner of the 1st qualification tournament in Saarbrücken against the second of the qualification tournament in Wipperfürth and the first of the Wipperfürth tournament against the second of the tournament organized by the 1st BC Saarbrücken-Bischmisheim.
The final of the German team championship will be played on Sunday, June 20 at 2 p.m. on two fields. DBLV President Arno Schley and DBV President Thomas Born thank the 1. BC-Saarbrücken Bischmisheim and 1. BC Wipperfeld for their willingness to take over at short notice in view of the difficult circumstances in the corona pandemic.
