FC Bayern Munich will have to do without its head coach Julian Nagelsmann in the Bundesliga on Saturday. The champions will play against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on the ninth matchday (3:30 p.m., Sky). As in the 4-0 in the Champions League at Benfica Lisbon on Wednesday, Nagelsmann, infected with the corona virus, will be represented by assistant coach Dino Toppmöller. The table runner-up Borussia Dortmund also has to cope with a prominent failure in top striker Erling Haaland before the away game at Arminia Bielefeld.

Like BVB, RB Leipzig and VfL Wolfsburg want to score again in the Bundesliga after their defeats in the Champions League during the week. The Leipziger compete against the bottom of the table SpVgg Greuther Fürth and want to make the mini-crisis forget with a success against the still winless shamrock. The situation in Wolfsburg is even more acute: VfL have lost four of their last five competitive games and are seven games without a win. The next tricky task awaits Mark van Bommel’s team at SC Freiburg.
