A preliminary decision can be made on Wednesday. If Schalke wins against Cologne, it’s their turn again, a draw really only helps Cologne and if I lose, it’s “game over” in my opinion. Without a real derby (of course with a spectator) something would be missing …

I also see it that way, a final for Schalke, actually one point is already too little, then it would still be 5 points for Cologne and then Bayern, Leipzig, Union and Dortmund and Werder on matchday 19 will come away in the second half of the season on the 22nd matchday the gap would be in double digits.

If I see it differently, there are still enough games and they are getting reinforcements. Due to the competition, they will at least manage to get the relegation place in the end.

I don’t think it’s safe at all. The game against Hoffenheim was really a “slip”, as hopeless as they did again today.
You don’t have a squad suitable for the Bundesliga. Players like Thiaw, Becker, Kutucu, Boujellab, Mercan, Calhanoglu, Ludewig – these are not (yet) BL players with whom you can tear something. In which squad would they prevail against whom?
And so far they have not broken anything against the direct competition from Bielefeld, Cologne and Mainz. A measly point from the two games against Mainz and Bielefeld, which had already been advertised as “finals”.
Mainz has just changed coach and at least scored points against us. Cologne can still pull the Joker coach change.
So in my opinion, the blues have very bad cards.
Edit: At the end of the day you get a few million more salaries for “reinforcements” and then get down with 22 instead of 18 points, that’s how it will go …
