The German Football League (DFL) announced that the remaining season games, which are not broadcast by the main rights holder Sky, will be shown on DAZN. Inconsistencies between Eurosport and DFL
DAZN had already shown Bundesliga games before the corona crisis, but because of inconsistencies between Eurosport and the DFL before the restart, the broadcasts were not secured recently. The American media group Discovery, to which Eurosport belongs, wants to terminate the contract with the DFL according to media reports.

Amazon had already acquired the broadcasting rights for the game between Bremen and Leverkusen, but had to contend with considerable technical difficulties when it premiered in the Bundesliga. The fact that the US company Amazon is investing in European football is nothing new.
