Bundesliga club RB Leipzig ends its trip to the USA with a defeat.
In front of 5135 fans in the Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, where world footballer Lionel Messi (37) plays with Inter Miami in the MLS, Leipzig lost 0:3 (0:1) against Premier League club Wolverhampton.
The goal was scored by Leipzig’s Lukas Klostermann, who unfortunately deflected a shot by Pablo Sarabia into his own goal (18th). Before that, André Silva had the chance to take the lead, but was stopped by keeper Bentley from eight meters (17th). Later, Lois Openda missed the chance to equalize after a preparatory pass by Mohamed Simakan (44th). Sarabia (62nd) and Rodrigo Gomes (73rd) increased the lead after the break.
