While the Bundesliga and the ÖFB cannot change the name of the stadium, they will no longer use the name with immediate effect and will refer to the ‘Stadion Kapfenberg’ in future league, cup and across channels.
Contacts will also be made with the Documentation Archive of the Austrian Resistance (DÖW) to investigate the naming of other Austrian stadiums.
