Cologne – Bundesliga soccer team Hertha BSC has put an exclamation mark in the preparation for the season. Coach Pal Dardai’s team defeated Liverpool 4: 3 (2: 2) and showed some promising approaches. However, the joy was clouded by a head injury to Santiago Ascacibar, who had to be replaced immediately after his goal to make it 1-0 (21st).
In addition to Ascacibar, who collided with Liverpool keeper Caoimhin Kelleher at his goal and could not continue playing, ex-Schalke Suat Serdar (31st) and newcomer Stevan Jovetic (66th, 80th) were successful.
