Bünde: Verein International creates 80-minute documentary about the fate of Jewish citizens in Bünde: Film recalls victims of Nazi terror – Bünde

In order to keep the memory of the victims alive, the Verein International has put together an 80-minute DVD film entitled “Giving faces to history”, which is to be made accessible to the Bünder schools and thus to all future generations. The basis for the extensive project, which kept everyone involved in suspense over a period of three years, was the interviews and documentations that had been conducted and compiled since 1999 by the network group of the Marktgymnasium under the direction of teacher Christina Jaffe. In addition, materials from the books of the Bünder historian Norbert Sahrhage were used.
