Bulog’s position as CEO was removed during an official trip to Aceh, Buwas opened his voice

Former Main Director of Perum Bulog Budi Waseso opened his voice after being removed from his position. BUMN Minister Erick Thohir shifted the man known as Buwas to become Main Commissioner of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.

Erick Thohir appointed Bayu Krisnamurthi as Main Director of Perum Bulog. Decree of the Minister of BUMN number SK-341/MBU/12/2023 dated 1 December 2023 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Directors of Perum Bulog.

Buwas said the decision letter was issued when he was on an official trip to Aceh Province to review the availability of Food Aid rice and SPHP rice at the Bulog Siron Warehouse, Aceh Besar Regency while also attending the Scout National Conference in Banda Aceh.

He said that ending his position at Bulog and being assigned to become President Commissioner at Semen Indonesia was a new mandate given to him.

“I thank you because my assignment at Bulog has actually been 5 years, it was completed according to the regulations, then I had it extended and yesterday I was finally replaced and assigned to a new place as Main Commissioner at Semen Indonesia. For me, that position of trust is what we really need. take care of it as best as possible, so I think it’s normal,” said Buwas, in a written statement Tuesday (5/12/2023).

Furthermore, Buwas said that his replacement had gone through considerations from both the Minister of BUMN and the President himself, that work at Bulog was not easy and not easy and this was a very fundamental food issue.

“I am confident and confident that my successor is more capable than me, because he has also been a Dewas for a long time, he has also understood Bulog for a long time, so I am calm. Wow, I think it is better, I am confident and believe that he will definitely be able to carry out and continue what he said. “I’ve done it and maybe he will fix things that are lacking,” concluded Buwas.

As is known, BUMN Minister Erick Thohir officially appointed Bayu Krisnamurthi. Bayu is not new to Bulog. He previously served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Perum Bulog from 2007 to 2012 and was entrusted to serve again as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Perum Bulog on July 4 2023.

Erick Thohir also added 1 director to Perum BULOG, namely the Director of Transformation and Institutional Relations, bringing the composition of Perum Bulog’s board of directors to 6 directors from the previous 5 directors.
