Another takeaway from the conference is that Europe is united and the time when everyone fends for themselves is over. The second conclusion is that there is strong support for Ukraine in the US, and these disputes that we see in the media do not reflect the desire of both Democrats and Republicans to help Kiev as quickly as possible.
This was stated by Prime Minister Academician Nikolay Denkov, who returned from participating in the Munich Security Conference.

“We did not expect that at the conference an important topic for our partners would be the rotation and whether it would happen successfully. In the last two days we used the time to meet with the foreign heads of state. We were together with Mrs. Maria Gabriel, but we have not talked on the subject of rotation and I can’t say anything new on the subject. I have always said that we have to honor our agreements and on March 6 I will resign. There is no drama in this. The government continues to work in resignation. I think that we need to find a solution that is acceptable to both parties. For me, the easiest way for the rotation to happen is to simply switch places with Ms. Gabriel to continue our contacts with our external partners. We are yet to have conversations about why this is such a problem for the other side,” the Prime Minister commented on the topic of cabinet rotation.
“At the conference with the Austrian foreign minister, we discussed that we should renew the land Schengen negotiations, which stopped on December 30. There is a chance to get a date for land Schengen before the end of the year,” concluded academician Denkov.
