At the end of November last year, deputies decided to adopt a draft law on the ratification of an agreement between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the free provision of armored personnel carriers.
Until recently, Defense Minister Todor Tagarev stated that armored personnel carriers are still in Bulgaria, since their transportation to Ukraine would be quite expensive for the state budget.

“The three ministries are working together. It is already clear who will load them where, where they will go. This is a very serious logistics operation,” he clarified, and then commented that the amount for transportation is large, but it will still be tolerable for the country.
Supply of armored personnel carriers
Back in July last year, it became known that Bulgaria could provide Ukraine with about 100 armored personnel carriers from the warehouses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Already in December, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev vetoed the free provision of armored vehicles to Ukraine.
However, later the National Assembly of Bulgaria (parliament) overcame the veto of President Rumen Radev on the supply of armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.
