The official cabinet continues to make changes in Bulgarian diplomacy. Nine more decisions have been published in the legal information system of the Council of Ministers, offering Rumen Radev the release and appointment of ambassadors. However, this has never been made public.
The new batch of exchanges are for Croatia, Sweden, Ireland, Vietnam, India, Germany, Jordan, Lebanon and Israel. Likewise, decisions were made last week to replace our ambassadors to NATO, the Vatican, Moldova, Slovenia and Norway.
In Israel, the current ambassador Rumiana Bachvarova – formerly Boyko Borisov’s chief of staff and foreign minister – will be replaced by Slavena Krasimirova Gergova. Slavena Gergova currently heads the Directorate General “European Affairs” in Foreign Affairs, she was ambassador to Tunisia.
In Lebanon, Boyan Belev is released, and Yasen Tomov is offered.
Dimitar Mihailov is coming home from Jordan, and Metin Kazak is leaving – DPS cadre, MEP from the movement.
We will also have a new representative in Germany. Our previous ambassador, Elena Shekerletova, will be replaced by Grigor Porozhanov.
Elena Dimitrova is released from the ambassador’s post in India, and Nikolay Yankov is proposed in her place.
Pavlin Todorov will leave for Vietnam, and Marinela Petkova will return from Hanoi.
Two ladies participate in the cast in Ireland – Gergana Karadjova returns, and Vanya Chavdarova Andreeva – Malakova leaves.
In Sweden, Ivan Pavlov was released, and Svetlana Sashova Stoycheva – Etropolski was appointed.
The last reshuffle for now is in Croatia – Genka Georgieva is released and Iva Kruleva is appointed.
