A protest in 13 cities against the road war will take place on Sunday. At precisely 11 o’clock, important road arteries will be blocked in Sofia, Etropole, Kazanlak, Varna, Samokov, the village of Bratanitsa, Chirpan, Kostinbrod, Haskovo, Topolovgrad, Burgas, Shumen and Targovishte.
IN Sofia protesters will gather at the intersection between Slivnitsa Boulevard and Ruse Street, where in the early hours of May 8, an 18-year-old youth swept and killed 22-year-old Yavor and 24-year-old Ani.
Between 11 and 11:30 the protesters in Burgas will block the road to Sozopol. End Targovishte there will also be a blockade at Momina Cheshma.
The movement on the road arteries Haskovo – Dimitrovgrad and Topolovgrad – Elhovo will also be stopped by parents whose children have fallen victim to the road war.
Varna, Shumen, Samokov, Stara Zagora and Kazanlak also go on a rampage.

It is also planned to introduce a maximum speed limit on motorways, the possibility for young drivers to drive with companions and a reduction of speed in certain areas in cities.
“We want when there is alcohol, drugs and a gross violation of the Road Traffic Law to be considered intentional crimes. Because at the moment they are seen as unintentional crimes,” said the organizer of the protest, Ivan Spasov.
