A Bulgarian cargo ship is captured in the Red Sea. This was reported by Oil and Capital.
Another ship was captured near Yemen. This is the dry cargo ship “Ruen” with 18 crew members, which belongs to the Bulgarian Sea Fleet enterprise, but flies under the flag of Malta.
Communication with the ship was lost 700 km from the island of Socotra in the Arabian Sea. The ship issued a distress signal due to unknown persons infiltrating on board.
Oil and Capital notes:
“We would like to remind you that yesterday a real hunt for ships began in the Red Sea. The Houthis first attacked a tanker with missiles and later captured the Maersk Gibraltar container ship. As a result of these attacks, Maersk Tankers decided to stop shipping through the Suez Canal and the Red Sea. At the same time, let us remind you that this is a strategically important route for the supply of hydrocarbons, including Russian ones.”
Currently, the United States and its allies want to increase their military presence in the waters.
In addition, Israel has already sent warships and a submarine there.
