On the night of Sunday, it will still snow in places in southern Bulgaria, but the rain will gradually stop. This was announced by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH).
Clouds will break from the north. It will blow to a moderate northerly wind. The minimum temperatures will mostly be between minus 9° and minus 4°, in Sofia – around minus 8°.
Atmospheric pressure will rise and be significantly higher than average.
On Sunday in the morning, light snow will still fall in some places in the Rilo-Rhodope region, but by noon the clouds there will break and decrease, and it will be mostly sunny over most of the country during the day.
It will continue to blow to a moderate wind from the north quarter. The maximum temperatures will be between minus 1° and 4°, in Sofia – around minus 1°.
Above the Black Sea it will be mostly sunny for most of the day. Cloudiness will be more significant in the morning hours along the southern coast.
It will be moderate, in the southern regions – a temporarily strong wind from the north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 3° and 6°. The temperature of the sea water is between 5° and 9°. The excitement of the sea will be 3-4 points.
In the morning hours over the mountains from southern Bulgaria, the cloudiness will still be significant, in some places with snow showers. Mostly sunny weather will settle in most areas around and in the afternoon.
A moderate northeasterly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters – about minus 2°, at 2,000 meters – about minus 9°.
On Monday the weather will be mostly sunny, almost calm or with a light northeast wind. In the forenoon, it will be foggy or with low stratus clouds in places in the lowlands.
In Tuesday the wind will be oriented from the west-northwest and will temporarily increase to moderate. Cloudiness will increase and light snow will fall in some places. Temperatures will remain unchanged, with minimums between minus 10° and minus 5°, and maximums between 0° and 5°.
