Russian agency “Interfax” received confirmation of this information in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Lavrov was supposed to visit Serbia on June 6-7. He was scheduled to meet with President Aleksandar Vucic, Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic, Speaker of Parliament Ivica Dacic and Serbian Patriarch Porfiry.
Lavrov is under European sanctions because of involvement in the aggression against Ukraine, and EU airspace for Russian aircraft closed. Montenegro and North Macedonia are not members of the EU, but are candidates for membership (as is Serbia, but it prefers not to quarrel with Russia).
In this regard, the organization of Lavrov’s visit had to be dealt with directly by the President of Serbia.
“It’s really incredible, but the situation in Europe and the world is such that the president of the country should deal with such matters as the logistics of the trip of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, on what depends whether he will come or not,” said Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic aired on Pink TV.
Interfax writes that the Russian Foreign Ministry does not rule out that Lavrov’s visit will not take place.
“Our diplomacy has not yet mastered the ability to teleport,” the source said.
