Bulgaria is in the green zone for the spread of COVID-19, which is the most favorable. This is shown by the data of the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases.
Most infected are in Burgas district – 28 per 100,000 people, followed by Sofia – with 24, and Blagoevgrad – with 19. For comparison, in Kyustendil, Yambol, Shumen and Sliven, the infected are 6 per 100,000 people.
The data for 14 days of morbidity, published by the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, are in accordance with the color zones adopted in the plan for dealing with the pandemic:
Green zone: morbidity up to 100/100 000 people
Orange zone: incidence from 100 to 249 / 100,000 people
Red zone: morbidity from 250 to 499 / 100,000 people
Dark red zone: morbidity over 500/100 000 people
Depending on the area in which the country is located, the relevant restrictive measures set out in the plan to deal with the pandemic.
