We are also speeding up the plans for a new connection with Greece, respectively its connection with the transatlantic southern gas pipeline. We are in talks with Turkey to build an interconnector. Such a connection will be built with Serbia as well, which I think will diversify, or create prerequisites for diversifying gas sources,” said the prime minister.
After a question from the PIK whether we are not also dependent on nuclear fuel, Oresharski stated: “I was told that in the coming years it is not necessary to change the nuclear fuel. Nuclear power plants have a very high degree of independence because the fuel is not changed for long periods of time. I’m not concerned with that type of addiction, but rather with gas and fuels.’
