Bulgaria enters the war directly if it dares to do so!

“Bulgaria is a good place for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. I very much hope that this initiative will be taken.” This opinion was expressed to BNR by Prof. Dimitar Nedyalkov, a colonel from the reserve, a lecturer at the Military Academy.

He was adamant that if Bulgaria gives fighter jets to the Ukrainian army, it will be tantamount to “directly entering the military conflict”:

“It is no coincidence that the answer is unequivocal. What we need to do through NATO is to strengthen the security system in the border countries, especially. Bulgaria also needs rearmament with adequate weapons. We must also ask for help from our NATO allies.” .

According to him, at the moment we are witnessing operational pause before a new offensive by the Russian army in Ukraine.

He predicts more intense hostilities.

“In any war, the reality is always different from the planned development of hostilities. Let’s remember the situation in Libya, in Yugoslavia, in Iraq – there is always a need for re-planning, additional deployment of forces and resources and then the continuation of hostilities. This is still happening, “the reserve colonel explained.

Prof. Nedyalkov commented that in the escalation of a military conflict very little can be relied on a conscript army: “We need people who are professionals in order to achieve military success.”

According to him, in the world the notion of war is totally changing: “The development of military theory and practice is undergoing a total transformation.

This is one of the military conflicts (the war in Ukraine – B.R.), which will show this need – in the direction of robotics. and more widespread use of artificial intelligence, in the direction of training the composition that is involved in military conflicts.

The perception of military construction in the context of future military conflicts must be completely changed. ”

According to Prof. Dimitar Nedyalkov in Bulgaria people need to be prepared for action in crisis situations: “Not necessarily wars, we see that nature is changing and cataclysms are becoming more frequent. The state needs to think about that.”
