On Friday 9 June, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts opens its latest luxury hotel, the Bulgari Hotel Roma, in Piazza Augusto Imperatore, 10: 114 rooms and public spaces designed by the ACPV architecture studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, who also designed the look of the nine Bulgari Hotels and Resorts worldwide. While the Polis Studio of Rome – architect Gennaro Farina – oversaw the design and supervision of the restoration works of the building, the decorations and was also involved in the urban plan. On Thursday night, Bulgari inaugurated its ninth property hosting an audience that was able to enjoy various shows. The preview reserved for 600 selected guests was attended, among others, by the Bulgari brand ambassadors Zendaya and Priyanka Chopra Jonas; French actress Adele Exarchopoulos; German actress Emilia Schüle, Lebanese presenter and journalist Raya Abi Rached; TV presenter Lojain Omran; Turkish actress Alina Boz; the Italian actresses Miriam Leone and Cristiana Capotondi and the actor Alessandro Gassmann.
The celebration began with the CEO of the Bulgari Group Jean-Christophe Babin who did the honors in the ribbon cutting ceremony held in front of the Statue of seated Augustus portrayed as Jupiter: an original Roman sculpture in Pentelic marble, from Villa Mattei al Clelio and which welcomes visitors to the hotel. The five-yearly exhibition in the Vestibule of five works from the Torlonia Collection, recently restored by the Torlonia Foundation with the contribution of Bulgari, aims to restore representative images of the Augustan dream. Jean-Christophe Babin was joined by the mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Zendaya, the Executive Vice President Bulgari Group Silvio Ursini, the General Manager of Bulgari Hotel Rome, Vincenzo Falcone and the councilor Alessandro Onorato.
