No Bukayo Saka has skyrocketed to become one of the serious challengers in the high score chase World Cup 2022competing with Kylian MbappeLionel Messi and others.
Before the tournament was held, Saka’s name was not included in the calculation of the 2022 World Cup top scorer candidate. From the England team, the most prominent name is obviously Harry Kane, who won the top scorer title four years earlier.
However, at the end of the first match, Saka managed to kick the ball and score two goals against Iran. The trend of goals in the first match continued successfully in the first 16 match against Senegal.
Saka contributed one goal and has now collected three goals during the 2022 World Cup. Saka is on equal footing with Lionel Messi, Olivier Giroud, Cody Gakpo, Marcus Rshford and Alvaro Morata as Kylian Mbappe’s chaser who has collected five goals.
The opportunity for Saka to get close to Mbappe will come in the quarterfinal match. England will duel against France.
If Saka is able to score a goal and get England to stop France, Saka can get close to Mbappe and at the same time close the opportunity for the PSG strikers to keep adding goals.
Bukayo Saka is currently only 21 years old. He has been a regular mainstay of the England national team across various age groups. Saka made his senior England debut in 2020 and was part of the England squad at the 2020 European Cup.
Although still young, Saka enjoys great trust from Southgate. He now regularly fills the position of one of the Three Lions’ wing forwards, eliminating names such as Jack Grealish, Marcus Rashford and even Mason Mount.
