In order to improve traffic in the Daejang district of Gyeyang and Bucheon, Incheon, a plan to establish an S-BRT (arterial express bus system) network will be promoted.
On the 24th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that it is reducing the time taken to commence compensation by an average of 10 months or more by applying the’Fast-Track’ method that combines district planning and land compensation in order to hurry the creation of the third new city Revealed.
When comparing the period from designation of housing district to commencement of compensation, the 2nd new town took an average of 27 months, including 24 months in Seongnam Pangyo, 30 months in Wirye, but 14 months in Hanam Gyosan, 14 months in Incheon Gyeyang, etc. It is reducing an average of 17 months.
Namyangju Wangsuk, Hanam Gyosan, and Incheon Gyeyang announced compensation in August of last year, and the compensation process is currently in progress, while Generals Changneung and Bucheon of Goyang are planning to announce it in the first half of this year.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport plans to implement a pre-subscription system in which the 3rd new city is supplied one to two years before this subscription, reducing the housing supply period on average by 4 years and 9 months compared to the existing new city to provide early supply.
Starting from Gyeyang, Incheon in July, early supply of 30,000 households from Wangsuk in Namyangju, Gyosan in Hanam, Changneung in Goyang, and Daejang in Bucheon until the end of the year.
Along with this, wide-area transportation measures for Incheon Gyeyang and Bucheon general were confirmed.
Considering that the two districts are adjacent to each other, integrated transportation measures have been prepared.
First, an S-BRT will be built that connects Gimpo Airport Station-Gyeyang District-Daejang District-Bucheon Sports Complex.
This is an upgraded BRT system that runs without stopping between stops like subways through signal system control.
The S-BRT is linked to neighboring subway lines 5, 7 and 9, the airport railroad, and the metropolitan express train (GTX)-B.
Route 39 and Ojeong-ro were confirmed, and Gyeongmyeong-daero was newly built to secure road capacity.
As a result, all traffic measures for the 3rd new city have been confirmed and will be promoted quickly.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has announced the location and prepared transportation measures to minimize transportation inconvenience when moving into the 3rd new city, and decided on traffic measures at least 16 months earlier than before.
In Gyosan, Hanam, construction of an urban railroad between Songpa and Hanam is being promoted.
For urban railroads, the key is whether to connect subway line 3 or 9 in the direction of Seoul, and currently, weight is placed on the way to connect with line 3.
