Home game at the Raiffeisen Sportpark Graz! On Saturday, September 28th, HSG Holding Graz will host HC Fivers Margareten at 7:00 p.m. In this game, the Balomenos seven will want to build on their last two victories and score points again. In the preliminary game, the Future Team will host the Viennese team from 5:00 p.m.
Unlike the Graz team, the Fivers were in action in the EHF European Cup last week. There, the Viennese celebrated their entry into the second round of the international competition with a win in the first leg and a draw in the second leg. HSG Holding Graz is thus welcoming a team full of confidence: “The Fivers have confidently moved into the next EHF Cup round, and they also showed strong performances in the first HLA rounds. The results were mostly close and we are preparing for an intensive home match in which we will have to be fully present for the entire 60 minutes,” said HSG Holding Graz player Nemanja Belos.
Due to their participation in the European Cup, the Viennese team had a busy week on the agenda, and on Wednesday they welcomed ALPLA HC Hard to Hollgasse. “The double burden doesn’t necessarily have to be a disadvantage, we definitely expect a fit Viennese team. We intend to take the energy from the last two matches into our home game and score points in front of our home crowd,” said HSG Holding Graz coach Spyros Balomenos.
While the HLA Master League team from Graz is already hosting its third home game of the season, the Future Team is playing its first home match of the season. At 5:00 p.m., the team coached by Anna Fötsch-Schweighofer will host the Viennese junior team.
