On fire three apartments in the center of Porticoes: evacuated the building, poisoned some residents. A few minutes after 9 pm two apartments in Schiano park, fourth street via Libertà, they burned down for reasons yet to be ascertained.
Violent flames rose from the building trapping residents at home and creating panic and chaos in the area. Two people were escorted to theMaresca hospital in Torre del Greco and the Mare hospital in Naples. The evacuation operations were complicated as the stairs were filled with smoke. In total they were 72 people evicted for 26 families. Twenty-six people they were treated on the spot by ambulance doctors for intoxication. Save yourself too ten dogs.
The agents of the municipal police, the fire brigade, the state police, the carabinieri, the civil protection and the mayor’s chief staff immediately arrived on the spot Vincenzo Cuomo and Maurizio Capozzo.
The firefighters put out the flames with great difficulty, freeing all the inhabitants of the building who had been trapped in the houses and were screaming for help from the balconies. Among the residents rescued by firefighters, one non-ambulatory woman on the top floor.
Rescue operations continue and only at the end will it be possible to establish the causes of the fire and the damage. According to relatives of some residents of the building there would have been a gas leak in the first apartment that burned down.
The flames of the fire that broke out in an apartment on the 4th street on the right of Via Libertà were painstakingly tamed by the Fire Brigade: 26 people and 10 dogs were rescued – 72 people were evicted for 26 families.
The operations of the firefighters are still underway who are working with the support of the Municipal Police teams coordinated by the commander Francesco Zenti to put out the blaze that broke out in an apartment of a building in the fourth cross street on the right of Via Libertà.
With the fire in progress, 26 citizens have been rescued in total and have needed medical treatment and oxygen due to the consequences of the inhaled fumes.
In the rescue operations, 10 dogs were also rescued. The lawyer Maurizio Capozzo of the Mayor’s Cabinet office is present on the spot while the Coc (municipal operating committee) has been activated remotely with all the municipal managers.
At the moment, the dynamics and causes of the fire are not clear.
The firefighters supported by the women and men of the municipal police managed to rescue about 26 people and 10 pets.
At present, 26 families have been evicted from the two buildings involved in the fire for a total of 72 people.
