Building caretakers honored at City Hall

The town hall of Paris honored, this Saturday, January 23, 600 caretakers of buildings. Seven of them received the medal from the City of Paris: on the evening of November 13, in the 10th and 11th arrondissements, they opened their doors and came to the aid of the victims of the attacks.

The janitors or rather the caretakers and caretakers of buildings have been honored by the City of Paris. 600 of them were received at the Town Hall by Anne Hidalgo this Saturday, January 23. A ceremony during which seven caretakers and caretakers of buildings were awarded the medal of the City for having rescued the victims of the attacks of November 13th.

Among them, Natalia and Gabriel Syeb. This couple has occupied for 16 years the lodge of a building of sixty inhabitants close to the Bataclan. On November 13, Natalia and Gabriel did not hesitate for a moment and opened their doors wide to Parisians fleeing terrorist bullets. Distribution of blankets and hot drinks, care for the injured: “a natural gesture” for Natalia who never imagined for a moment that it would earn her the gold of the Hotel de Ville.

Emmanuel Hunzinger and Laure Bignalet met this couple and shared with them this special day.
