This session at the Common Knowledge and Training Space will explore how we can all support digital accessibility in our work. The importance of digitally accessible events, meetings, communications and more, has been increasingly highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we expect the best aspects of virtual ways of working together to continue, as we nurture #BuildBackBetter, integrating accessibility into our online work is a critical step in securing and sustaining l inclusion of people with disabilities, now and in the future.
This session will present key tips and recommendations for making many parts of our work more accessible, starting with meetings and events, through content, documents and also speaking and how we moderate online.
Members of the UNOG Disability Inclusion Team will introduce us to some areas where we can make digital accessibility a reality in our daily work. They will also share resources to support the inclusion of people with disabilities in Geneva and beyond.
