Build from advanced

In a world where immediacy and impermanence seem to rule our interactions, it is necessary to stop and reflect on what we are actually transmitting. Every day we compete for followers, likes, and attention of an audience that consumes information at a dizzying pace.. However, beyond the race for visibility, we must remember our collective responsibility: that of telling well and spreading messages that raise them.

Last Friday, with my classmate Tertulia Valledupar, Maria Fernanda Góngorawe had the opportunity to give a seminar in UparSistem. It was a rich experience, where we were able to share knowledge about new digital formats. But the most valuable thing was the place for reflection that was created. We talked about the importance of messages that transcend and that what we communicate is rooted in our minds and a real desire to have a positive impact on those who listen or read to us.

In an overview where the news seems to focus on the negative –suicide, mental health crisis, and social tragedy– we desperately need to change the tone of the conversation. As a society, we have the task of spreading information that is not only factual, but also positive, that inspires and guides us to build a better future. It is not about avoiding the truth, but about directing our efforts towards a message that adds and educates.

As the singer says Robbie Williams in his farewell letter to Liam Payne, Telling well and spreading positive content is a job that belongs to all of us. Every word we share has the potential to affect those around us. By building from empathy and knowledge, we not only avoid falling into an empty position, but instead we contribute to creating an environment of respect and growth. Information must be more than a simple consumption tool: it must be a way to strengthen the social fabric, encourage dialogue and emphasize what we can unite, despite our differences .

Disseminating positive information that makes a real impact is a responsible act. By using our platforms to educate, inspire and raise awareness, we are contributing to a cultural movement that is needed more than ever. The task of building from the advanced is collective and urgent, and it is in the hands of each of us.
