build and leveling guide

Deadlock recently added six new heroes. One of them is Wrecker. The character is currently only available in a limited mode called Hero Labs, but will soon be added to the main game mode. In this guide CyberMeta will analyze the character in detail. We’ll tell you about his skills and give tips on playing for the hero, as well as against him.

Destroyer

When magical creatures first appeared in New York, it not only ushered in a new era, but also turned the world order upside down. Soothsayers under the wing of the CIA entered the game. They can see those who could become threats decades before they gain enough power to seize control of civilization from the shadows. The new foundation made it possible to prevent many brutal wars that would have affected the fate of mankind. But this does not mean that there are no more wars. Wars just look different now.

In modern realities, paranormal military organizations are at the helm. They operate outside spatial boundaries and know how to bypass the rules of the new world. Organizations took on the role of intermediaries for states interested in waging wars. And the Destroyer was a soldier of one of these organizations. Wrecker is an experienced fighter of an elite unit who does not disdain work that other private military companies do not undertake.

Next, we will look at all four Destroyer skills in detail.

  • Wrecking Ball is a huge ball of various debris that can be thrown at enemies. When hit, it deals damage and stuns opponents. It takes a certain amount of time to assemble the ball. When carrying the ball before throwing, you move more slowly.
  • Consume – stuns enemies and creeps, and also deals damage. If the attack ends in a frag, the player’s rate of fire increases and the third skill is rolled back.
  • Bio Blast is a blast of scraps that slows down enemies on impact and deals damage. When hit several times in a row, the slow effect is cumulative.

  • Astral Walk – The destroyer releases a projection of itself upward. When the projection lands, the player is transported to its place. After teleportation, an explosion occurs. The power of the explosion depends on the distance traveled at the time of movement.

The Destroyer is not the most mobile character. Its main advantage is the ability to inflict a lot of magical damage on enemies. This is what our focus will be on assembling items.

  • Consume;
  • Bio Blast;
  • Wrecking Ball;
  • Astral Walk.

Required Items for Wrecker

Required Items for Wrecker

We start our assembly with Extra Charge. An indispensable item that adds one charge to skills, reduces the cooldown time and increases the damage of the main weapon. This is one of the best items in Deadlock, and in the case of the Destroyer, it is vital. To compensate for the not-so-high movement speed, it’s also worth taking Fleetfoot. The item will add health, and also, if your opponents press you, will help you move away faster.

All other items from the top list can be taken in any order. If you miss a lot, Basic Magazine is worth a look. This is one of the best starting items. It not only significantly increases the ammo supply of the main weapon, but also significantly increases its damage. If you have the same problems, but already have some experience in clearing lanes effectively, take a look at Ammo Scavenger. This item will return ammo to you for souls successfully collected from creeps, as well as for souls that you did not allow to be given to the enemy.

At a slightly later stage, we recommend taking Quicksilver Reload first. The item allows you to smooth out the flaws of the weapon and improve your skills. Next we will need Superior Cooldown and Superior Duration. Both of these items significantly buff skills, and as a bonus increase the health and damage of the main weapon.

The Destroyer has one of the deadliest skill sets. So throw them back as often as you can. If you have extra souls on Rapid Recharge, take it too, and use your skills even more often than before.
